A Voice in the Wilderness: Missionaries Proclaim Christ to the Unreached!
Did you know that there are over 3,000 people groups that have never heard the gospel before? Of those 3,000 there are over 2,000 language groups that don’t have a written language. That means no alphabet, which means no books, which means no Bibles. Imagine not having access to a Bible in your language!
Seth Stokes and his wife Nicole have been living on the Island of Vanuatu since 2017 with the purpose of reaching the Tiale people. The Island has no Evangelical materials in the national language (Bislama). Seth and Nicole have been learning the language and culture so that they can share the Gospel effectively with the Tiale people.
Since living there, they have “restarted” the Bible school, and built several new dorms for married couples and children. Seth has also been working on training and discipling pastors and writing a four-year curriculum for their Bible college.
